Pastor Andrew Matthews and his family arrived in October of 2015 from serving in Indonesia to assume the pastoral duties at St. Stephen’s. He was born in Melbourne and lived there for seven years until his family moved to Houston, Texas.

 

Pastor Andrew is a graduate of Texas A&M University (BA, Economics, 1992) and Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi  (M.Div, 2001). He is an ordained minster in the Presbyterian Church of America but has served in churches throughout Australia, Scotland, USA, and Indonesia.

 

Andrew and his wife Eleanor have six young children.

 

In addition to pastoring the church, Pastor Andrew is enrolled in the PhD program at Christ College, Sydney to complete a doctorate in the Old Testament.
